The manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, has emphasized that he has “no regrets” about accepting the position.
Nonetheless, the man of 40 years acknowledged that he has had to rid himself of uncertainties regarding the timing of his appointment.
After replacing Erik ten Hag in November, Amorim has faced a challenging beginning with the Red Devils.
The Portuguese tactician has secured only six victories in the Premier League and appears poised to guide United to their lowest finish since 1990.
Speaking to reporters before the match on Sunday against Bournemouth, he stated that he is pleased with his choice to take on the role in the middle of the season.
Amorim, when asked about his perspective on taking the United job, responded, “No regrets.”
“Not right now. If you had asked me four months ago, given all the issues, perhaps you sensed that I should have been more assertive in stating I would begin at the start of the season.
