Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, has returned to work at the team’s training facility following his recovery from pneumonia.
This was revealed by the Premier League team on Thursday.
Howe, 47, missed league games against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa because he was admitted to the hospital earlier this month.
The club announced, “Newcastle United is pleased to confirm that Eddie Howe has returned to his duties at the club’s training center.”
Eddie has returned to work following a period of recuperation following his recent hospitalization for pneumonia.
“We appreciate the well wishes from our supporters.”
Jason Tindall, assistant manager, was in charge of the team while Howe was gone. Newcastle won well under his leadership against Crystal Palace and Manchester United, but lost badly to Aston Villa.
The fifth-place squad, who won the League Cup recently, will play struggling Ipswich on Saturday. As they continue to compete for a Champions League spot, they want to get back to their previous level of play.
The Premier League’s top five teams will advance to the UEFA Champions League the following season.
Arsenal is the front-runner for second place, while Liverpool is on the verge of winning the championship. Third-place Manchester City and seventh-place Aston Villa are separated by four points.
