Glen Johnson, a former right-back for Liverpool, has identified Chelsea’s left-back, Marc Cucurella, as the top player in the Premier League at his position.
He cautioned Liverpool against attempting to sign Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, advising the Reds to go after a deal for Cucurella instead.
Liverpool is looking for a new left-back to serve as a future replacement for Andy Robertson.
Earlier reports from Metro indicated that Kerkez has become the main target for Slot’s side.
After the player had a remarkable season with Bournemouth, the Reds took an interest in him.
