According to the DAILY POST, Paul Onuachu is a serious doubt for Southampton’s matchup with West Ham United in the Premier League.
On Saturday, the Saints will play West Ham United at the London Stadium.
During Southampton’s home loss to Aston Villa last weekend, Onuachu suffered an ankle injury.
Following the interval, Tyler Dibling took the 30-year-old’s place.
Prior to the match against West Ham, interim manager Simon Rusk gave an update on the forward’s health.
It’s one to evaluate tomorrow and give us a little more time to see where he’s at because he’s been back in and around it for the past day or two, so it might be close to 50/50 right now. Although it’s not definitive, we’re hopeful,” Rusk stated on the club’s official website.
This season, the forward has made 22 league appearances for the Saints and scored four goals.
