After Chelsea’s victory over the Spanish LaLiga side to clinch the UEFA Europa Conference League final, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca disclosed his remarks to Real Betis star Isco.
Maresca observed as Chelsea overcame a one-goal deficit to defeat Real Betis 4-1 in the Conference League final on Wednesday night.
Players such as Enzo Fernandez, Moisés Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, and Jadon Sancho netted goals for Chelsea in their match against Betis.
After his team’s win over Betis, Maresca disclosed that he had looked for Isco to commend the ex-Real Madrid midfielder.
“I told Isco at the end that he possesses a game-changing quality,” Maresca told Movistar.
During their stint at the Spanish club Malaga, Maresca and Isco played together.
At the age of 33, Isco has played for clubs such as Real Madrid and Valencia in previous years.
