Eberechi Eze’s younger brother, Chimaechi Eze, has been released by Crystal Palace.
Eberechi Eze is a first team star at Crystal Palace and his brother who plays for the club’s youth side was released following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.
Chimaechi, 22, moved to Crystal Palace at the start of the 2023/24 season after an impressive trial at the club.
This summer, the champions of the FA Cup have let go of 17 academy players, including Eze.
Before the transfer window closed, he would have to locate a new club elsewhere.
Chimaechi had a promising beginning to his career at Crystal Palace, but he was unable to secure regular playing time with the U21 team.
Across the EFL Trophy and Premier League 2, he featured in only two matches without scoring.
He will now hope to get new suitors within or outside the United Kingdom with the summer transfer window now open.
