In an effort to foster cooperation, solidarity, and physical fitness among employees of federal facilities, the Forum of Heads of Federal Civil Servants in Gombe State has finalized arrangements to hold its inaugural football competition.
According to Sadiq Ahmed, the Forum’s chairman and director of the National Institute of Technology Kumo, teams from 106 federal ministries, departments, and agencies as well as military and paramilitary organizations will compete, Daily Trust said.

In addition to keeping our people physically fit, football is a powerful weapon for that,” he stated.Ahmed disclosed that a sports committee chaired by Emmanuel Elesha Sobok of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), the Forum’s Sports Director, has been given a month to turn in its report before to the start.
