President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the issuance of all essential regulatory licenses for the Kolmani Integrated Development Projects.
The project is situated between Bauchi and Gombe States, where the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) announced that oil exploration would recommence. Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), revealed this while inaugurating the construction of BOGAA’s permanent site in Alkaleri.
He stated that the need to activate all available oil platforms for increased production prompted Tinubu to approve the issuance of all critical regulatory licenses for the Kolmani project. This information was included in a press statement issued yesterday by the minister’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Nneamaka Okafor.
