For Dantata’s funeral, a Nigerian government delegation travels to Saudi Arabia.

In order to attend the funeral of businessman and elder statesman Alhaji Aminu Dantata, President Bola Tinubu has dispatched a representative to Saudi Arabia.

The business magnate will be laid to rest in Madina, the holy city of Saudi Arabia, according to a statement from the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

After departing on Sunday, the Nigerian delegation landed in Saudi Arabia on Monday morning.

Dantata will be buried in the Islamic holy city of Madinah, according to the statement.

The businessman passed on in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday. He was 94.

The delegation includes Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State of Housing Development; Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation; Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Minister of Defense; and Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation.

Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, and Khalifa Abdullahi Muhammad, the Imam of Dantata Mosque in Abuja, are among the other Islamic clergy.
