Regarding the football rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria, well-known Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has stated that the Black Stars are currently a more united team than the Super Eagles.
The Peruvian hitmaker commented on a recent episode of the “90s Baby Show” that while Nigeria has a lot of individual skill, Ghana has been able to assemble a more cohesive and successful team.

“At the moment, Ghana is a better team [than Nigeria’s Super Eagles],” he stated. On an individual basis, we Nigerians are superior. However, Ghana is superior as a team.
“We haven’t been able to unite the talent of every player to create a strong team for some reason. It will probably take some time. Despite having many talents, we haven’t been able to use them.
Fireboy also criticized Nigeria’s lack of a comparable presence and praised Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey for highlighting the disparity in midfield quality between the two West African opponents.
