The Nigeria National League’s (NNL) leadership has been praised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Federation, presented the commendation at the third NNL Monthly Awards ceremony in Abuja.
The NFF president, who was represented at the ceremony by Felix Anyansi Agwu, the federation’s first vice president, stated that the NNL has changed significantly and made admirable progress since the league body’s founding.
He underlined that the league has a more recognizable face and is now more competitive for all players, coaches, referees, and managers thanks to the recently implemented monthly prizes.
“When we stand tall on a foundation of personal integrity, hard work, and unwavering determination, we can achieve extraordinary things.”
“Achievement is never a coincidence. High intention, genuine effort, wise guidance, and deft execution are always the causes.
“To stand here in front of you all and recognize the accomplishments of our outstanding football players, team officials, outstanding team, and outstanding arbiters for the month of February, 2025, who have made themselves, their parents, and their clubs proud, makes me feel incredibly privileged and honored.”
