“He dedicatedly served Nigeria.” CAN laments Buhari

The Christian Association of Nigeria, or CAN, has expressed sadness at the death of Muhammadu Buhari, the country’s most recent president.

In a statement issued by its president, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, CAN praised Buhari’s service legacy.

The Christian organization offered its sympathies to the former president’s friends, family, and allies.

Buhari passed away on Sunday in London, UK, while undergoing treatment for an unidentified ailment, according to the DAILY POST.

To return Buhari’s remains to Nigeria, Vice President Kashim Shettima traveled to London with senior members of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

According to CAN, Buhari served our country with commitment and a strong sense of duty, even though his term “was not without its challenges.”

His dedication to public service and his contributions to Nigeria’s growth are important aspects of our country’s history.

We pray that the Almighty God gives his family and loved ones the fortitude to endure this grief, and we join all Nigerians in grieving his passing. I hope his soul finds eternal peace.
