Nigeria’s goal of reaching a $1 trillion economy by 2030 is being driven by innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and corporate governance, according to a statement released yesterday by the Independent Shareholders Association of Nigeria (ISAN). At its 8th Triennial Delegates Conference, which took place Thursday at the NECA House in Lagos, the association’s stance was made clear. With the topic “Nigeria: Towards a $1 Trillion Economy by 2030,” the conference convened corporate leaders, investors, regulators, and policymakers to discuss how to achieve sustainable national growth.Moses Igbrude, ISAN’s National Coordinator, stressed the value of openness, responsibility, and moral leadership in nation-building in his introductory remarks.
