Manager Mikel Arteta has been persuaded by Arsenal great Ian Wright not to bench players like Gabriel Martinelli and Eberechi Eze once more.
After Arsenal and Manchester City drew 1-1 in the Premier League on Sunday, Wright remarked.
Remember how Arteta decided to bench both players against Man City? Erling Haaland and Martinelli’s goals at the Emirates Stadium guaranteed both clubs a point each.
In the second half of the match, Martinelli came on from the bench and Eze assisted him.
“Martinelli and Eze are my picks,” Wright told Premier League Productions.
Martinelli has the ability to energize the audience. Eze is capable of making those passes, as we witnessed. We have to get started on that right away.
