Insecurity: Nigerians are unimportant to APC and PDP, according to ADC

In light of the widespread insecurity in Nigeria, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) claims that neither the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nor the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are concerned about the plight of the populace.

Following a spate of violent attacks that have reportedly claimed over 140 lives in the last two months, the ADC urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare a state of emergency in Katsina and Zamfara States, according to a statement made by Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary.

The ADC criticized the Federal Government’s response to the crisis and characterized the killings as evidence of Nigeria’s disintegrating security structure, accusing the APC and PDP of being solely interested in politics and power.

This heinous deed perfectly captures the atrocities Nigerians have had to put up with under this government.

“It is also a damning proof of our national security architecture’s complete collapse, which has led even the country’s Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, to urge citizens to learn self-defense,” Abdullahi stated.

He chastised President Tinubu for putting foreign commitments ahead of pressing domestic issues.
