The Adara Development Association (ADA) has condemned the deadly attack on the Wakeh community in Agunu Ward, Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State, which left several people dead and others injured.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, September 7, when heavily armed gunmen stormed the community, blocking entrance routes and preventing possible rescue from neighboring villages.
The association, in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Livinus Paul Magaji, expressed deep shock and sadness over the killings, describing the incident as barbaric and inhumane.
In order to safeguard people and property and guarantee that those responsible are held accountable, the ADA urged the Kaduna State Government and pertinent authorities to act right away.
In order to address the security issues that Adara communities face, the association also stated that it is willing to work with the government and security organizations.
While expressing sympathy to the families of the deceased and wishing the injured a quick recovery, the ADA advised locals to maintain composure, exercise caution, and refrain from breaking the law.
