Significant appointments have been made by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani with the goal of reviving the state’s civil service and improving efficient service delivery.
CP Ali D. Audu (retd.) has been appointed as the new Commander of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service, Ibrahim Balarabe as the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Pension Bureau, and Jummai Bako as the new Head of Service.
Ibraheem Musa, the governor’s chief press secretary, made this revelation in a statement on Friday.
“With renewed vigor, complete dedication, a profound sense of humility, fairness, and integrity, the governor has charged the new appointees to approach their assignments,” the statement continued.
The governor anticipates that the appointees will use their extensive backgrounds and expertise to fulfill their institutional duties.
The new Head of Service, Jummai Bako, has extensive experience in public service and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria.
At the Ministry of Planning and Budget Commission, she held the positions of Director of Monitoring and Evaluation and Director of Budget.
The Office of the Head of Service is anticipated to benefit greatly from her employment in terms of knowledge and experience.
Ibrahim Balarabe is a seasoned administrator with over 31 years of corporate and public service experience.
He has spent 18 years in the new Contributory Pension Scheme, making him an expert in pension administration. His appointment is expected to bring stability and efficiency to the Pension Bureau.
Ali D. Audu is a retired Commissioner of Police with extensive experience in professional policing and tactical training.
He has served in various capacities, including Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State (2023 – 2024), Commissioner of Police, Border Patrol, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Commissioner of Police, Police Mobile Force, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Commandant, Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Nasarawa, and has attended professional courses on strategic training command and advanced human rights observance.
He replaces Brigadier General Umar Ibrahim (retd.)
Meanwhile, the governor has charged the new appointees to approach their assignments with renewed vigour, total commitment, a deep sense of humility, fairness, and integrity.
“He expects them to deploy their vast experiences and knowledge to deliver on their institutional mandates. The Governor wishes them God’s guidance in their new assignments,” the statement added.
