Mustapha Mubdiyu Adebayo, the chairman of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Kung Fu Association, has reiterated his dedication to raising awareness of the sport in Abuja and beyond.
Professional town planner Adebayo told reporters in Abuja over the weekend that his administration’s main goal is to make sure Kung Fu becomes well-known through community involvement, schools, and grassroots development.
Many people may claim they have never heard of or seen Kung Fu practiced if you ask them about it. That’s what I want to change. We are contacting schools and the private sector since visibility entails involving more individuals,” he stated.Adebayo thinks the sport has already demonstrated a lot of promise, despite obstacles including a lack of venues and training equipment. Only four athletes represented the FCT in Kung Fu at the most recent National Sports Festival, he recalled, yet they all brought gold home.
