As reported by DAILY POST, the U-19 team of Kwara United has claimed victory in the first-ever National Youth League Cup.
On Sunday, the Harmony Boys’ developmental team triumphed over Atlantic Business FC with a score of 3-2 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan. Kwara United was awarded a cash prize of N16m for clinching the title. Coach Abdulkadir Jimoh earned the Best Coach accolade at the tournament.
Kolawole Sheriffdeen was named Best Goalkeeper, while Muhammed Abdullahi received the Most Valuable Player award.
The competition seeks to advance U-19 players into their professional careers
