Isoso Community leaders in Shagamu GRA, Ogun State, have praised Lafarge Africa Plc. for helping to build the community’s first police station.

Speaking during the police station’s handover ceremony to Nigerian Police Force officers, the community leaders urged other businesses to follow Lafarge Africa’s lead in supporting the growth of their host communities.
Sammy Ogunjimi, the Chairman of the Royal Initiative for Development of Shagamu Community (RIDSCO), explained that the project was initiated by the leaders of the Isoso Community prior to RIDSCO’s involvement, but it was later shelved because of budgetary limitations.
