The appointment of Alhaji Garba Tambari, the Emir of Maradun, to head the 10-member Amirul Hajj committee for the 2025 Hajj activity has been authorized by Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal.
This was said in a statement released in Gusau on Friday by Mallam Abubakar Nakwada, the Secretary to the State Government, via Sulaiman Tudu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media in the SSG’s office.
According to the announcement, the committee was established to guarantee the welfare of pilgrims in Zamfara and the success of the Hajj operations in 2025.
According to the statement, the committee, which has Alhaji Habibu Balarabe as its secretary, is anticipated to start operations right away.
Sulaiman Gummi, Malam Bello Almufty, Murtala Jangebe, Abubakar Furfuri, Alhaji Rabi’u Ilili-Bakura, Malam Ibrahim Izala, Malama Sadiya Mahe, and Malama Hadiza Gummi are among the other committee members.
The committee’s task was to efficiently supervise the State Hajj Commission’s and its subcommittees’ operations.
According to the statement, “it is also to ensure total compliance with both local and Saudi regulations throughout the 2025 Hajj exercise.”
