NDDC collaborates with Origin Tech Group for the Niger Delta Food Hub

The Executive Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has visited key agri-tech and logistics facilities in Lagos operated by Origin Tech Group Nigeria to enhance food security and agricultural development in the Niger Delta.

The NDDC delegation, headed by Sir Victor Antie (Executive Director of Projects), visited the Lagos Central Food Security and Logistics Park (LHP) in Epe, the Middle Level Market (MLM) in Idi-Oro, Mushin, and the Origin Automobile Works (OAW) plant in Surulere.

The purpose of the visits was to evaluate the current food and logistics infrastructure and to investigate possibilities for duplicating similar initiatives in the Niger Delta region.
Origin Tech Group, in partnership with the Lagos State government, has developed the Lagos Central Food Hub, which is said to be the largest food systems and logistics hub in sub-Saharan Africa.
