Beneficiaries of the $50 million Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund have received assurances from the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) that, once ongoing capacity-building and compliance procedures are finished, the first tranche of grants under the program will be distributed in the first quarter of 2026. At yesterday’s Town Hall Meeting for WEIDE Fund beneficiaries in Abuja, where beneficiaries, coaches, and program partners assessed the fund’s progress since its introduction in August 2025, the assurance was delivered.
