According to the DAILY POST, Chiamaka Nnadozie is a candidate for the French Arkema Premier League’s top goalie award.
Nnadozie is nominated alongside two other athletes: Christiane Endler of Olympic Lyon and Mary Earps of Paris Saint-Germain.
This season, the goalie has maintained ten clean sheets for her team, Paris FC.
Earps has eight clean sheets, while Endler has thirteen.
Remember how Nnadozie became the first African Nigerian to win the award last season?
In the 2023–2024 season, the 24-year-old also took home the National Union of Professional Footballers award for best goalkeeper in the French women’s premier division.
Right now, Nnadozie is thought to be Africa’s top goalie.
