Jacob Aondona has won Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Sporting Lagos’ Player of the Month award for May.
Aondona beat Abraham Idakwo, Babatunde Akomolede, and Thompson Gavi to the award.
He was a rock in the heart of Sporting Lagos’ defence during the month
Aondona notched an assist during the assessed timeframe as well.
At the conclusion of the 2025 season, Sporting Lagos did not obtain a playoff ticket in the NNL.
In 20 matches, the humble club achieved nine victories, five draws, and six losses.
