The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) have partnered to combat crime in an effort to guarantee a state free from crime.
At this time, Alhaji Muhammad Ali Tikau, the Agency’s State Acting Director, paid a visit to his NSCDC counterpart.
The State Director of NOA praised Civil Defense for its vital role in fighting crime and resolving disputes, especially those between farmers and herders, which has improved peace and unity in the state.
He underlined NOA’s dedication as a National Intelligence Council member and the important contributions both organizations are making to promoting harmonious coexistence throughout Nigeria.
Abubakar Isa Musa Zaria, State Commandant, NSDCD, expressed gratitude to NOA for acknowledging NSCDC’s contributions to social order and national security.
He promised that NOA would continue to support government initiatives, particularly the mobilization drive that aims to reorient citizens to act in ways that strengthen national unity and foster national values.According to Zaria, NOA is an essential organization that operates in all 17 of Yobe State’s local government districts; as a result, the two organizations must work together more closely to increase their combined influence.
