Katsina United have begun a screening process to choose new team players in preparation for the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The exercise commenced on Thursday at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina and is expected to last for seven days.
A total number of 41 players turned up for the exercise which was supervised by the club’s technical department
Selected players from the exercise will be assigned to various categories, including the club’s Junior Team, U-23, and U-20 teams.
Katsina United have begun gearing up for the new season with players retained from the previous one.
Last season, the Chanji Boys succeeded in avoiding relegation by finishing in 15th place.
