Rivers United General Manager, Dr Okey Kpalukwu has urged the players and officials of the club to remain conscious of the task ahead after the successful end to the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Pride of Rivers finished the season in second place and will participate in the CAF Champions League next season.
Kpalukwu expressed gratitude to the players and crew for picking a continental ticket
recalls that in the 2023-24 season, Rivers United last played on the continent.
Kpalukwu expressed during a meeting with the entire Rivers United team, “I must thank you for your help in our achievements this season, but an even greater task lies ahead.”
“I want to encourage you to stay focused while taking advantage of this break to refresh.”
