Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Rivers United have parted ways with their chief coach, Evans Ogenyi.
Ogenyi left the former NPFL champions following the expiration of his contract.
He was drafted into the Rivers United coaching staff during the 2023-24 NFPL season
Reports indicate that Ogenyi is anticipated to join a new club before the upcoming season.
In 2018, he assisted Lobi Stars in securing the NPFL championship.
In 2023, Ogenyi led Kano Pillars back to the NPFL.
