To celebrate the birthday of Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, the Lagos chapter of the Obidient Movement has announced plans to hold a massive charity event at many strategic places throughout the state.
The event’s organizers announced in a statement issued on Sunday that it will be hosted concurrently in Ikeja, Festac, and Lekki on Friday, July 19.
One of the main organizers, Prince Saviour, stated that the demonstration will serve as a forum to honor Peter Obi’s leadership principles and encourage altruistic deeds.
βThe Lagos Mega Charity March will be a demonstration of love, unity, and public service in honour of Mr Peter Gregory Obi, a symbol of integrity and visionary leadership,β Saviour stated.
To improve impoverished areas in all three places, the charity-focused protest will include free medical outreach programs, orphanage visits, and different contribution drives.
“This is a call to action, not just a celebration,” he continued. We encourage everyone in Lagos to take part in this meaningful march. Let’s demonstrate what compassion and true leadership look like. Be obedient. Be there. Be the change.
The rally is a component of a larger Obidient Movement plan, and counterpart gatherings are anticipated in the Federal Capital Territory and all 36 states of Nigeria.
