On September 24, a court rules on the ownership dispute of 9Mobile.

In the case of businessman Abubakar Ismaila Isa, who alleges that his 43 million shares were transferred to Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited, doing business under the trade name 9mobile, without his consent, the Federal High Court in Abuja has set September 24 as the date for a decision on a number of applications.

Isa’s legal team, headed by Femi Atteh, SAN, filed the case before Justice Mohammed Umar on Wednesday under suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/1971/2024.

He accused Seltrix Limited of purportedly transferring the said shares to 9mobile without his consent, resulting in the alleged illegal change of control of 9mobile to LH Telecommunication Limited by the Corporate Affairs Commission and Nigerian Communications Commission
