Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian international, has instructed Napoli to finalize the agreement with Galatasaray in order to secure his permanent transfer to the Turkish champions.
Late Tuesday night, football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed this in a post on X.
“Victor Osimhen has communicated to Napoli his intention to finalize the deal with Galatasaray as soon as possible,” he tweeted.
As exclusively disclosed, Galatasaray will pay €75 million as the release clause amount, although the terms of payment will be negotiated over a five-year period.
The contract is available as of Sunday, with an extension through June 2028.
This follows Osimhen’s agreement with Galatasaray to sign a three-year contract with a one-year option to join the team permanently.
Romano just disregarded the idea of Osimhen joining Manchester United last weekend.He said the only teams fighting to sign the Nigerian were Juventus, Al Hilal, and Galatasaray.
