Kola Adewusi, the deputy governor of Osun State, has urged all PDP members in the Ife Federal Constituency to permit the party’s leadership to mediate a prompt and peaceful conclusion to the party’s crisis.
The development was a storm in a teacup, according to Adewusi.
As previously reported by the BASEMEDIA, Adewusi and two other PDP leaders were voted out of office by the party in the Federal Constituency due to their alleged anti-party actions.
In response to the development, Sunday Bisi, the chairman of the Osun PDP, issued a statement on Tuesday urging composure.
Additionally, Bisi urged party members in the Ife Federal Constituency to refrain from taking any more actions that might worsen the situation.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his chief press secretary, Goke Awoyemi, the deputy governor of Osun claimed that internal conflicts are a part of party politics in general.
Additionally, he stated that the party members’ primary goal of serving the people of Osun State must never be compromised by the issue.

His Excellency Prince Kola Adewusi, the deputy governor of Osun State, and Professor Wale Oladipo, a member of the PDP Board of Trustees, were suspended after a rumored crisis broke out between political gladiators in the Ife Federal Constituency zone during a meeting in Ife East Local Government Area. This incident caught the attention of the office of His Excellency Prince Kola Adewusi.
