The Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) has mandated MainPower Electricity Distribution Company (previously known as Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC) to reimburse more than 20,000 estimated customers due to incorrect billing.
Yesterday, EERC released a public notice in which it stated that its order was prompted by numerous complaints from MainPower customers regarding the company’s overbilling.
