Ahmad Aladesawe, the Chairman of the Ondo State League of Imams and Alfas and the Chief Imam of Owo, passed away at the age of 91.
Owo Muslim leader Kamorudeen Ishola informed reporters on Tuesday that the Imam died at the Federal Medical Center in Owo, Ondo State, on Monday night.
According to Ishola, the Imam was a well-known Islamic scholar and community leader who dedicated his life to advancing Islam in the nation.
He stated that the Imam would be laid to rest in his hometown of Owo, in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic tradition.
“May Allah grant him Jannatul Fridaus, forgive his sins, and reward his good deeds.” “Aaameen,” said Yusuf.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Sheikh Aladesawe served as the Secretary General of Imams and Alfas in the Southwest, Edo, and Delta states before his passing. Aladesawe gained a lot of respect for his efforts to uphold peace and propagate Islam both inside and outside of Ondo State.
Prayers have been made in Aljana Fridaos for Allah to give his soul eternal peace.
