Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was one of the dignitaries who attended the funeral service for Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, on Thursday at Redeem Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Tower, in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Sanwo-Olu posted pictures from the event on X.com, writing, “Today, I attended the funeral service of late Abisola Kola-Daisi nee Ajimobi. Abisola’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched many, and her absence will be deeply felt.””Her family is in my prayers and thoughts as they go through this difficult time. I hope she finds peace in heaven.
At the funeral service for Abisola, the late daughter of Ajimobi, Governor Sanwo-Olu X| Jidesanwoolu is credited.
Adebo Ogundoyin, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, attended the funeral as well.
“Today at the RCCG City of David in Lagos, I paid my final respects to Abisola Kola-Daisi, the daughter of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State,” he said on X.com.
“May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may God comfort her family, especially her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their children during this difficult time.
