The Real Madrid icon Raul has discussed speculation regarding his possible replacement of Carlo Ancelotti as the club’s next manager.
In the past few weeks, there has been speculation about Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid.
Many reports have suggested that the Italian may leave at the season’s end.
As Ancelotti’s contract with Los Blancos is set to expire in 2026, he has been associated with the position of head coach for the Brazil national team.
Raul, who has been managing Real Madrid Castilla since 2019, spoke about the development and said he is calm.
The Spaniard stated (through Tribal Football): “I’m happy to be here; I’m where I want to be.
“If and when the time comes for evaluation and decision-making at the club, we will see what happens then.”
At this point, it is essential to stay calm and composed. As the season draws to a close, much remains at stake.
“I believe we will have time to assess and decide on matters that could impact the club and, on a personal level, myself. However, I’m quite composed.
Raul played for Real Madrid for 16 years in his professional football career, during which he made 741 appearances and contributed 323 goals as well as 135 assists.
