Rivers will hear from Fubara by 6:00 p.m.

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, is set to address residents in a statewide broadcast at 6:00 p.m. today, marking his return following the suspension of the emergency rule. On his arrival at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the governor expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received from the people.

Fubara said the upcoming broadcast would provide an opportunity to thank stakeholders who played key roles in restoring peace and stability in the state.

“I was humbled by the reception at the airport and the show of love here yesterday. It reflects confidence, solidarity, and a reaffirmation of the bond between this government and the people,” he said.

He assured residents that his administration would continue to pursue policies that have earned their support and promised that all authorities who contributed to the return of normalcy would be duly acknowledged in his evening address.
