Saka vs Vinicius: He’s influenced by Mbappe – Former Chelsea striker selects superior player

Tony Cascarino, a former Chelsea striker, has chosen Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka over Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.

Cascarino stated that Vinicius has been impacted by Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid, and he noted that Saka has improved.

Before the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, he spoke.

In an interview with talkSPORT, the ex-international player for the Republic of Ireland stated: “Bukayo Saka has improved enormously. And his hunger and desire – everything I criticize Mbappe for lacking – Saka provides that.

“I completely concur that he is a player on the rise and that there is more to come.

“I believe that Vinicius Junior has been influenced by Mbappe, and in turn, he has had an impact on Rodrygo. The latter is a young player who is exceptionally talented. Lewis-Skelly performed excellently against Rodrygo; let’s keep that in mind.

Vinicius Jr – observe Saka, consider the intensity of his work and the impact he has on defenders; he was a key reason Arsenal succeeded.

„Und er hat sich von einer großen, langwierigen und schlimmen Verletzung erholt. Thus, currently, if you asked me ‘would you take Vinicius Jr or Saka?’, I would respond with Saka,” he added.
