He reaffirmed that the inauguration of the new board marks a new chapter defined by visionary leadership, enormous professionalism, and exemplary sportsmanship. Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, the newly elected president of the Chess Federation of Nigeria, has pledged to introduce innovative thinking that will make the federation a model of integrity and excellence in Nigerian sports administrationMy goal is to create a chess environment that is dynamic, inclusive, and highly professional, nurturing talent from elementary schools to universities throughout Nigeria,” he said. As a result, Senator Dankwambo pledged to collaborate amicably with other board members in order to advance chess in Nigeria. “As your president, I promise to uphold an open door policy, accepting your wisdom, originality, and unrestricted ideas. “To advance the federation and guarantee advancement and success for Nigerian chess, our combined efforts and creative thinking will be crucial. “As we collaborate to realize our common goal, I urge each of you to contribute your distinct viewpoints and passion,” he statedAdditionally, Dankwambo vowed to “create long-lasting business partnerships and alliances that enable greater involvement, elevated competitive standards, and improved visibility on national and international stages.” In closing, he acknowledged the work done to reposition the sport by the previous board.
