Ashifat Suleiman, the technical adviser for Kwara United, has praised his team’s players for their perseverance and self-control during the win over Remo Stars. At the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Saturday, the Harmony Boys defeated the reigning champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL, Remo Stars, 3-1. Babatunde Bright and Junior Aimufua both scored goals for Kwara United. In stoppage time, Jabbar Malik scored the consolation goal for the Remo Stars. Suleiman acknowledged that his team had a tough time against the Sky Blue Stars.After the game, Suleiman said, “We had a tough game because we didn’t start well but we regained ourselves. The players did a great job because they showed determination and discipline in the game.”
