According to the DAILY POST, Super Eagles goalie Kayode Bankole was introduced by South African club TS Galaxy. Bankole signed a two-year contract with the Rockets after joining them on a free transfer. After his contract with the Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL, winners Remo Stars expired, the 21-year-old left the team in the summer. Prior to moving overseas, the goalie played with Remo Stars for five years. Following in Stanley Nwabali’s footsteps, Bankole is now the second Nigerian goalkeeper in the top division of South Africa. Mbombela Stadium serves as the home field for TS Galaxy, which was established in 2015.
