TThe ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has accused former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, of being the major problem of the opposition.
The APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, issued a statement on Sunday dismissing Tambuwal’s claims that President Bola Tinubu was attempting to destabilize the opposition.
Morka stated that the president and the ruling party were fully committed to governance and had no time to interfere with what he described as broken opposition parties.
According to BASEMEDIA, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives claimed in a television interview that Tinubu and the APC were planning to discredit opposition parties in advance of the 2027 elections and that they would work with others to defeat them.
Morka accused Tambuwal and other opposition leaders of political blackmail and power obsession, but he said they had not offered any proof for their allegations.
“These opposition elements have become political prophets, announcing their base wishes and 2027 predictions that only serve to foreshadow the devastating defeat that awaits them at the hands of the good Nigerian electorate, because they have nothing valuable to offer Nigerians,” Morka said.
