Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has been characterized as a good servant leader by Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement.
According to Tanko, Obi’s leadership qualities are innate.
He revealed this while sharing videos of Obi feeding some of his close friends on his X handle.
The former presidential candidate was seen in the video having lunch in a room with Tanko, Aisha Yesufu, and a few other people.
According to Tanko, this is the mark of a good and servant leader—one who looks out for everyone, even his employees. It is inherently present and not for show. Obidients allow you to remain concentrated. PO will arrive. It is possible to create a new Nigeria.
Obi was recently spotted serving meals at a charity function in Imo State.
Nigerians’ reactions to the occurrence were divided; some were outraged.
In response to the outcry over the widely shared video of him serving food, Obi stated that it was done for humanitarian reasons rather than as part of a political tactic.
True leadership, according to Obi, must be based on service to others and humility.
The former presidential contender expressed regret that paid agents turned a sincere action into a political one.
He urged Nigerians to adopt a culture of constant kindness instead than performance altruism.
