Brigadier General B.O. Omopariola, the commander of 17 Brigade Nigerian Army, Katsina, has praised the friendly relationship between the Army and the state’s National Youth Service Corps, or NYSC.
During the one-year anniversary of NYSC State Coordinator Alhaji Ibrahim Saidu’s tenure, Omopariola delivered the commendation in Katsina.
He pointed out that since the service corps’ founding in 1973, the Army and NYSC have maintained a close working relationship.
“We will continue to maintain the excellent and interactive relationship between the Military and NYSC, especially in fostering discipline among corps members,” he stated.
Alongside officials and corps members, Alhaji Aliyu Lawal Zakari, the Katsina Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, was also in attendance to commemorate the event.
