The appointment of a new group of commissioner-nominees to the State Executive Council has been approved by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.
The nominees are Hon. Festus Odianosen Ebea, Hon. Christopher Ewere Okaeben, and Dr. Elizabeth Ebosele.
In a statement provided to reporters in Benin City on Friday, Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor, the Secretary to the Edo State Government, revealed this.
According to BASEMEDIA, the nominees have now increased the number of commissioners the State Governor has nominated and appointed to 29.
Remember that only nine of the 26 nominees who were previously nominated and confirmed have been sworn in and given portfolios.
Former Edo State House of Assembly members were Hon. Festus Ebea and Hon. Christopher Ewere Okaeben, two of the nominees.
The constituencies of Oredo West and Esan South East were represented by Hon. Okaeben and Hon. Ebea, the former Deputy Speaker of the House.
