Ivan Juric, the manager of Atalanta, revealed that after Ademola Lookman’s unsuccessful transfer to Inter Milan, certain individuals gave him poor advise during the summer transfer window.
After Atalanta defeated Torino 3-0 in Serie A on Sunday, Juric made a statement during his post-match interview.
Remember how Lookman and Atalanta were at odds over a transfer in August when La Dea wouldn’t let him sign with Inter Milan?
The Nigerian international pushed the move after submitting a transfer request and going missing to try.
The Super Eagles forward, however, came off the bench in the 87th minute of Sunday’s victory at Torino after Atalanta refused to let him join Inter.
“He spoke to me and the team on Monday,” Juric said of Lookman following the game. People who had offered him some bad advise were all around him.
“We need to get him back in shape physically because he has a great winning mentality.”
