Andre Onana, the goalkeeper for Manchester United, will be joining Trabzonspor on a one-year loan, which would treble his pay.
After the two teams came to an agreement, Onana reportedly agreed to the terms of the transfer, according to the Daily Mail.
Later this week, the Cameroon international will take a plane to Turkey to complete the transfer.
Due to the signing-on fee and bonuses, Onana is expected to receive a significant wage increase.
When it expires on June 30, United will not be paid a loan fee, and the Turkish team will not have the opportunity to sign Onana long-term.
Since United acquired Senne Lammens from Antwerp last week for £21.7 million, Onana’s future at Old Trafford has been in question.
