Miroslav Tanjga, a close friend of former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, has claimed that the German wants to coach both Real Madrid and Germany before he retires.
Klopp left his role at Anfield last summer and was replaced by Arne Slot, who has won the Premier League title in his first season.
Having left Liverpool, Klopp now works with the Red Bull group as the Head of Global Soccer.
Tanjga, a former team-mate of his at Mainz, has now disclosed that he has two dream jobs he hasn’t yet taken on.
One of these teams is Real Madrid, who are preparing to separate from Carlo Ancelotti.
The other position is with the German national team.
Tanjga stated, according to AS: “When Klopp departed from Liverpool, he told me that he had two wishes: to coach the national team and Real Madrid.
„Ob eine der beiden in Erfüllung geht, weiß ich nicht.“
“He is undoubtedly among those considered for the Real Madrid position, but currently, this is all just speculation. I am also aware that he only ever envisioned himself as the coach of Liverpool, not any other team in England. He has no desire to move to Serie A or France, and I believe he will eventually become the coach in Germany.
