According to Baron Ochieng, the captain of Kenya’s U-20 team, they have no fear of Morocco, Tunisia, or Nigeria’s Flying Eagles.
At the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the East Africans will play these three opponents in Group B.
Although Tunisia and Morocco have previously won the competition, the Flying Eagles have won it seven times.
According to Ochieng, they are ready for the contest.
Because we would have still faced teams like Morocco in the knockout stages even if we had kept the other group, Ochieng told The Star, “We have prepared well and despite the draw, we don’t fear our opponents.”
Next Sunday marks the opening of the 2025 U-20 AFCON.
